01 — Communities

Where Artisan builds and how to compare the options.

The right neighborhood depends on location, daily routine, and the kind of amenities you want close to home.

Where does Artisan Built Communities build?

+

Artisan builds across the greater Atlanta area. Current communities include 1872 Township in Rockmart, Salacoa and The Overlook at Salacoa in Calhoun, Heritage Pointe at The Georgian in Villa Rica, Serenity in Hapeville, NatureWalk at Seven Hills, Stratford at NatureWalk, and Landin at Seven Hills in Dallas, plus The Manor at Gainesville Township in Gainesville.

How do I figure out which community fits me best?

+

Start with three things: where you want to be, how you spend your free time, and what kind of home you want.

If trails and lakes matter most, Salacoa is worth a closer look. If you want golf-course access and a pool and clubhouse, Heritage Pointe at The Georgian stands out. If you want townhome living closer to intown Atlanta, Serenity in Hapeville may be the right fit. If you are drawn to a large amenity park and nature trails, Seven Hills communities are a strong place to start.

Do all communities offer the same amenities?

+

No. Amenities vary by neighborhood, which is why it helps to compare communities early.

Across Artisan communities, you may find golf cart-legal nature trails, a water park with an Olympic pool, tennis, pickleball, basketball, soccer fields, clubhouses, adult-only pool areas, dog parks, playgrounds, and volleyball courts.

A few examples: 1872 Township features Rockmart’s only waterpark, Salacoa includes walking trails and two community lakes, Heritage Pointe at The Georgian has its own pool and clubhouse plus access to an 18-hole public golf course, and NatureWalk at Seven Hills includes a 13-acre amenity park with a swim-up bar area and outdoor veranda.

Which communities are especially known for lifestyle amenities?

+

NatureWalk at Seven Hills is one of the strongest lifestyle-focused options, with a large amenity park, trails, and social spaces built into the neighborhood rhythm.

Heritage Pointe at The Georgian appeals to buyers who want golf and a resort-style pace. Salacoa brings a quieter setting with lakes and walking trails. 1872 Township stands out for its waterpark.

Across Artisan’s waterparks, the waterslides add up to more than half a mile end to end.

02 — Homes & amenities

Practical questions about home style, layout, and neighborhood life.

The goal is not just square footage. It is finding a home and a setting that fit the way you actually live.

What are Artisan homes like?

+

Artisan homes are built around comfortable daily living: spacious layouts, thoughtful flow, beautiful finishes, and design choices meant to feel good long after move-in day.

The company’s home design portfolio totals more than 65,000 square feet across a wide range of plans, which gives buyers real variety from one community to the next.

Do you offer more than one kind of neighborhood or home type?

+

Yes. Artisan offers different neighborhood types depending on the community. That includes single-family homes in several locations, luxury townhomes at Serenity in Hapeville, and active adult living at Stratford at NatureWalk in Dallas.

If you already know you want townhome living, active adult living, or a more amenity-centered setting, mention that on your first call so the team can narrow the list quickly.

Are move-in opportunities ever available, or do I need to start from the beginning?

+

Availability changes by community. Some neighborhoods may have homes already underway, while others may center more on available homesites and plan selection. The best way to get current answers is to call for live inventory, timing, and what is open right now.

How experienced is Artisan Built Communities?

+

Artisan has spent more than 15 years creating communities across the Atlanta area, and its leadership team brings more than 110 years of combined experience.

The company has built more than 1,000 homes and has received recognition including a Gold award for Master Planned Community of the Year and a National Gold award for Best Use of Natural Landscape.

03 — Visits & next steps

What to ask before you visit, call, or request details.

A few specific questions can save time and point you to the right community much faster.

Can I get floorplans and homesite availability before I visit?

+

Yes. Reach out before you drive out, and the team can send current floorplans, homesite availability, and next-step information. That is the easiest way to focus on the communities that actually fit your timing and budget.

Can I tour a community before I decide?

+

Yes. In fact, seeing the neighborhood in person is often the moment things become clear.

It helps to call first so you can confirm what is open to view and which community makes the most sense for your location, home type, and amenity priorities.

What should I have ready when I call?

+

Bring the basics: your preferred area, desired move timing, whether you want a single-family home, townhome, or active adult setting, and the amenities that matter most to you.

If commute time, schools, trails, golf, lakes, or a stronger social amenity scene matter most, say that early. It helps the team guide you faster.

When can I reach your team, and where is the office?

+

The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You can reach Artisan Built Communities at (678) 673-3135 or visit the office at 4900 Ivey Rd NW, Suite 825, Acworth, GA 30101.
